Having been raised in East TN and taught to appreciate the simple things in life, we look at old wood and pallets in a different light than most people. Most look at them as toss aways or throw them onto a burn pile. We look at them and immediately think of how we can upcycle them into something "new" to be enjoyed in an entirely different way!
Jeff takes pride in taking old wood and creating new pieces with new purpose. Some pieces take longer than others, depending on the vision he has for that piece of wood. He does not use plans or designs, but, instead uses the size of the wood to help determine the size and shape of the end product.
Valerie loves all things old! Nothing brings a smile to her face more than to find an old crock or washtub that needs a new home! That loves spills over to old wood, especially barn wood. She also loves inspirational sayings and often combines the two to create shelf sitters or other crafts to share.
