I have been making art of one kind or another since I can remember. I started out probably in school art class (remember those?) and really loved learning woodcutting (with a raw potato) and beginning pottery.
When I was a teenager I remember taking apart different commercial pieces of jewelry and re-imagining them in my own style. All along the way I have written in journals and drawn, and in school as a young adult I took several terms of Jewelry/Metal Smithing courses; along with life drawing and watercolor classes.
In my 30's and 40's I began to delve in to bead work. At first, simple strung jewelry; then I started to teach myself bead weaving and bead embroidery.
I've never really loved the thought of monetizing any of it; the fact is that it is NOT free to do. (especially jewelry!) SOOOO....
