The company is gphomestay and we are affliated with the Cambridge Institute of International Education. We have students from all over the country but mainly from China that come to th United States to study here. It is our job to find loving families that are willing to host these students for the school year. We do offer short term and long term care for our students. They come here with their own insurance and their own out of pocket spending money. Our families receive a monthly stipend to help with the cost of having another person in their home. We have a residential coordinator that is available 24/7 for any problems that may arise.
This is a great experience for everyone involved. You get to learn about a new culture along with you getting to teach the student about a new culture.
