Jessica Lisette is a singer and songwriter. Her music is a combination of various styles which includes pop-rock and Latin. She sings and composes in both English and Spanish. As the sole author of her compositions, her ability to translate the songs from one language to another while achieving a similar message and meter in each version sets her apart as an artist.
Born in the United States and coming from a Cuban family, Jessica grew up speaking English and Spanish side by side. She began classical vocal training at the age of seven. As a natural soprano, Jessica started to develop and fine tune the many different facets of her four octave vocal range. During her early teens, she decided to branch out of classical music and study the Seth Riggs technique of singing along with other methods of vocal performance. Later, she began to write her own music and by her late teens had compiled an abundance of original songs written in English as well as in Spanish.
In 2012 while recording at Digital Insight Studios in Las Vegas Nevada, Jessica met Adrian Ortega, the musical director of the world renowned Havana Nights show. After hearing her original compositions, Ortega agreed to work alongside her and produce her music.
In 2014, Jessica released her first music video in English and in Spanish. The videos for both versions (“I Saw You Today / Hoy Yo Te Vi”) charted in the top 20 in the California Music Channel and quickly gained national recognition as they were featured in music networks and college campuses all over the USA.
She is currently hard at work on her debut album which will be a compilation of her original songs. Her new single “Elementary” and in Spanish “Elemental”, inspired by the Sherlock Holmes stories and BBC's Sherlock recently released along with the music videos in dual languages. Jessica Lisette's ultimate goal as a singer and songwriter is to tell stories through her music and be able to touch the lives of people all over the world.
