Jewelry by Matt B was founded in 2010 after I was laid off from a mall jewelry store. Since graduating from the Texas Institute of Jewelry and Technology I have always worked for Mom and Pop jewelers. In 2010 the store I worked for was purchased by a large corporation and they laid off the jewelers company wide. Out of necessity I started my own business and started showing at Art Festivals in 2011.
