Jodi's Jewels is a place to pamper yourself with one-of-a-kind handmade pieces that are unique, edgy, and electic. Each piece is centered around a lampglass focal bead, crafted by one of several of my favorite glass artists. The focal is surrounded by single, double or triple-stranded beaded necklaces that are accented with pearls and swarovski crystal. I adore all things that sparkle! Each piece is made as though it were for me, and many times I have trouble parting with my creations. I also make bracelets and earrings out of lampglass.
The company is less than one year old. I created it to subsize my passion for making jewelry and hope to turn a hobby into a business. I am a scientist who directs a research core facility at Harvard by day. By night I create. The act of making jewelry clears my mind of all the stresses that accumulate over a busy day.
