John Morey is a fine-art nature photography artist and story-teller, making Arizona his beloved homeland since 1980. Discovering inspiration creating his compositions in the remote back-country of our national parks, monuments, forests, and wilderness areas, John explores uncommon artistic views of iconic landscape and wildlife scenes, with concepts of duality – both epic and small. Recently, his focus is creating a conduit between the viewer and the 'Spirit' of Nature, promoting realizations of contemplation and self-discovery.

John's career began in 2008, however he wasn't new at taking pictures; picking up his first SLR camera in 1977. Enjoying it for 30 years, with periods studying composition-theory and performing dark-room assignments, he never considered it an artistic future – it just took time to realize. Inspired with his first digital camera on a 2007 six-week African adventure, John embraced he had natural gifts for composing imagery. Returning to pursue photography in earnest, his artistic direction culminated into three legs of work: Monumental Icons Inspiration; Nature's Timeless Tones in Monochrome; and Realizations of Contemplation & Self-Discovery.

John caters to collectors and arbiters of taste wishing to display natural fine-art in their homes and businesses. His artworks are produced on fine-art papers and canvases, ChromaLuxe® brushed metal panels, and luxurious displays using Lumachrome® Trulife® acrylic glass. Offerings vary from print-on-demand open-edition reproductions, to uniquely-signed, titled, and numbered limited-edition and artist's proofs collectibles. Fine-art leasing also available.

Published in USA Today, Arizona Republic, AZ Central, Arizona Highways Magazine, international travel blogs, multiple national parks and guide books, and represented by galleries, Morey's work was also selected for display at the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History – celebrating the 50th anniversary of congress's Wilderness Act.
