Montana natives turned Angelenos, Joselyn & Don's intoxicating music is a walk through mountain wildflowers and Southern California Joshua trees. The duo's 2020 debut album "Soar" and 2022 EP "Seeds & Bones" have been warmly received by critics and independent radio worldwide, reaching number 5 on Roots Music Report's Americana Album Chart and the Top 100 of the Americana Music Association's album chart. Publications like Americana UK, Twangville, Americana Highways and others praise Joselyn Wilkinson's "one-of-a-kind voice," Don Barrozo's "fluid guitar work" and the "rich, lyrical, wild, spiritual imagery" of their music.
Joselyn & Don have toured venues throughout the West (Hotel Cafe, Lost Chord Guitars, The Lost Church, Grand Annex, Nakano Theater) and supported notable artists including Chris Pierce, Chris Stills (with Lukas Nelson), Willie Watson, Lauren Monroe (with Rick Allen) and Jess Williamson. Recently, they were showcase artists at the FAR-West folk conference in Los Angeles and were featured in Noel Paul Stookey's (Peter, Paul & Mary) curated Greenwich Village Folk Festival.
Joselyn Wilkinson is also the founder of the women's global fusion band, ADAAWE, who has toured extensively and appeared with luminaries such as Stevie Wonder and Leanne Rimes. She released two albums and toured with her band Wild Roots in the mid-2000s. Don Barrozo, a multi-instrumentalist, composer, and producer with many album credits, also serves as film editor for television's long-running animated series “The Simpsons.”
