ABOUT ME
Folllowing a brief but successful career as a floral designer "empty nester" Joyce Gleason first directed her talents towards designing children's hair accessories. She created a line of lace hair bows in the 80's that were sold to department and specialty stores across the Southwest. Once again in the 90's she turned her attention towards developing a unique line of custom hair bows that were sold exclusively in every Neiman Marcus store in the country.During this same period Joyce opened a children's showroom located at the Dallas Market Center, wich continues to operate to this day. The showroom is open daily and many upscale lines of children's gifts & accessories are sold to independently owned specialty stores. Her latest venture, J.G. Collections began when Joyce correctly identified a "void" in the market that involved the need for a custom made upscale flower headband. This unique line of headbands was created for the stores, and ultimately their customers, who appreciate value and want a product that is a "step above" what other retailers offer.
