About
Junemarie, Maker, Huxley, IA
I come from a family of makers. My Dad made violins and all kinds of carpentry items for our use. My Mom embroidered many lovely things for our home and later for the home I created for my family.
I have made my own clothes as well as home decor and other items for the home. I have continued to do this on and off. In retirement I have come back to making things.
I have made things for children, grandchildren and great grand-children and find a I have time to make more than they need or want. I enjoy making these things so to keep doing it I need an outlet for the finished products. Since not as many people make things in this day I would like to make the hand-made available to those who appreciate them. Right now I am specializing in 18 inch doll clothes and Christening gowns.
