My grandfather was a carpenter, and encouraged all types of creativity. When I was young, he walked around finding things for me to take apart and examine how things went together, and always encouraged me to dream, so I remember him any time I make a piece of my art.
After working for 30 plus years with persons with a variety of disabilities, I understand the longing for something beautiful which is comfortable to wear, as well as being easy to put on and take off. For the most part, my necklaces are not on chain, because some people are sensitive to metals. They also mostly are long enough to slide over a person's head, or they have an easy clasp to use. If my bracelets have a clasp, I include a bracelet - aid, designed by a friend, with instructions of how to use it. All my earrings are on hypoallergenic wires, and I will switch them off to a clip-on at your request.
