Karen O'Brien Designs is a new jewelry design business based in Texas. I work in metal and stone using sterling silver, fine silver, copper, high karat gold, and precious and semi-precious stones. My inspiration is from everywhere ... nature, other cultures, music. Currently my pieces are one-of-a-kind designs and hand-fabricated featuring carving, engraving, forming and texturing. I am always learning my craft so more and more techniques will find their way into my designs. I will add resin and enameling to my pieces in the future as well as incorporating more stone setting work.
