I retired to rural GA in 2009 from the Postal Service. I began creating lanyards for myself using gemstones to enhance the mood that I expected during the workday. Once retired, I wanted to keep creating so I started a small business "Simply Dawn llc".
Simply Dawn is uniquely handcrafted designs created to soothe the senses and enhance the mood and vibration of the wearer. Gemstones have living energy. Every gemstone has several attributes. As we change our way of life our vibrations change, that is why some gemstones will work differently on the same person at different times. I design necklaces; bracelets; earrings; lanyards; anklets; eyeglass holders; rally chains; suncatchers; safe travel prisms; fan pulls; Bible bookmarkers; book thongs; and Chakra Energy pieces.
My newest design is a Knotty Bangle. I have created a scarf using strands of various types of yarn. It is not knitted it is knotted onto a bangle bracelet. It is usually 40" long with 4 o 6 various types of yarn. All are hand washable. You can twist it, you can wrap it; you can tube it. You can create your own personal design.
