Karma Mala is a one-woman company producing hand knotted designer malas. A mala is a set of 108 beads traditionally used to focus awareness during meditation. They are also worn for their spiritual attributes. Utilizing pendants rather than tassels, I am drawn to pieces that are spiritual with a talisman feel. I am currently sourcing handmade pendants, prayer boxes and prayer wheels from Nepal in support of their artisans carrying on an ages-old tradition. I pair these with beautiful semi-precious stones, hand knotting between each bead. All profit is donated to the American Himalayan Foundation towards their efforts to Stop Girl Trafficking
