My Name is Penny and I created Kataleya Kandles because of my granddaughter Kataleya. I raised her from birth until she turned 6 years old when her mother took me out of her life completely from one day to the next and there was nothing I could do about it. Initially I started this business for her with the idea of building a successful business that I could one day hand over to her, but then I got the idea to build this business helping others in similar situations which is why a portion of my sales are set aside and donated to organizations that help abused children. My biggest goal being to change the laws, giving grandparents who are raising their grandchildren equal rights to the biological parents in a court of law. She has had to endure many hardships and abuse that never should have been allowed. I want my brand to make a difference and my customers to know that when they purchase my products they are supporting stopping abuse against children. All of my products are handmade by me in a spare bedroom of my house that I have turned into my workshop. I did not jump into this business I spent the last 6 years doing my research, test running my products and investing everything I have into this business and now I am ready to make this my full time occupation and building a trustworthy brand making quality products for a bigger cause and the greater good. I not only make scented candles I also make wax melts, car fresheners, Body Spray, Room and Linen Spray, Essential Oils, Soap, Bath Salts, Scrubs, Lotions and Butters, Beard Balm and Oil, Shower Steamers, Hair Perfume, Massage Oils And other Bath products.
