I took a course 2 years ago with New York Institute of Art and Design. Since then I have discovered that I have a talent for making jewelry and that I get a great deal of pleasure creating beautiful handcrafted work. I was a firefighter for 30 years and retired to the North Georgia mountains where I live a very peaceful life and enjoy my new found skill. This year I started looking into participating in festivals and just recently I was in the Georgia apple festival in Ellijay, Ga. It turned out to be very successful. I was very pleased with the sales but most of all I received many compliments on my work and the booth. Looking forward to the future and what it holds.
