Welcome to the Key Colony Beach Community Association's website. Our Association was started in 1991. It began as a transition from the Key Colony Beach Chamber of Commerce to the Key Colony Beach Community Association (KCBCA). When the City of KCB became a city in the 1950's it was felt that there was a need for a Chamber of Commerce. As the years passed by it was realized that the organization's mission had become community betterment rather than commercial development. Along with the name change, members, at that time, also revised the purposes of the organization from: “…to aid in the development and reasoned growth…” to: “activities for beautification, security, safety and recreational enjoyment of the community.” Our goals have not strayed far from that beginning many years ago. The KCBCA has changed and grown alongside the community with its changing needs. The KCBCA hosts many events throughout the winter season, as you can see on the Events page of this site. All made possible by membership fees and fundraisers. We urge you join our Association. As a member you give support to continuing liaison with the City Commission, assistance to the Beautification and Recreation Committees, the Police Department and seasonal community social functions. No matter where you reside, you are welcome to become a member. So come join in the fun in the Gem of the Florida Keys…Key Colony Beach! You can print out a membership form from this site-Click on RESOURCES-then click on PDF Downloads. Its the second one.
