Son Studios is a collaboration of three visual artists who share the common thread of spiritual content in their art. Debbie Woodall, Kathleen Torner, and Kim Bartholomew met and became friends at Upstairs Gallery, a Roswell, GA gallery that represents all three. While these artists have distinctively different styles and approaches to painting, they are all believers who derive their gifts, talents and inspiration from the Son of God, hence the name Son Studios.
The artists of Son Studios draw strength, encouragement and accountability from one another. As stated in Ecclesiastes 4:12, “though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.” The red band of the company logo represents the power in that three-strand cord of unity, and their core belief in salvation through Christ’s blood shed on Calvary.
As 1 Corinthians 12:4 states, “There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but the same God works all of them in all men.” It is therefore these artists’ common goal to use the gifts God has given them in a manner that reflects beautifully on all who come to experience their gallery!
