Bamboo Notes is my company name.  I buy bamboo poles from growers in North Carolina and then make various sizes of bamboo flutes that are end blown and side blown in diatonic and pentatonic scales.  I have been making flutes since 1976. The flute sizes are from 7" to 36".  Some of the bamboo I cut down myself.  The other aspect of my work is called Viewing Stones in the orient.  I use various stones and fossils that are either hand polished or tumbled and then I carve a hardwood base that only fits that particular stone.  Each piece is unique as the flutes and stones are not manufactured but worked on one piece at a time.
