My name is Sheena and Koolnecks Accessories is my handmade jewelry business; based in Chesapeake VA. I am the owner, creator, designer and artist behind everything you see in my shop/on my site. Each piece is unique and one of a kind. I do not have a brick and mortar store, my business is primarily online.
What started out as a hobby, quickly turned into a love and passion for jewelry design and making! I am originally from the island of Barbados, so my inspiration is from the island feel. I also love nature and natural beauty, so again my creative leanings are from that "place". I love working with a variety of stones, beads and shells of unique shapes, cuts and stylings. I love the "pop" that Swarovski crystal adds to a piece. I have been learning and dabbling in wire wrapping as well. Before listing or showing a piece of jewelry I have to absolutely be "in love" with it myself first. I present and sell nothing less to my customers and clients. I am what I call a "one-girl show", being that I do it all when it comes to my jewelry business! I also endeavor to be earth friendly, so even my packaging is organic and recyclable.
