Fiesta del Pueblo is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to promote cultural awareness in South Georgia. Our mission is to create opportunities for Hispanic and Latino communities to gain positive visibility, foster pride and unity, and share valuable information on education, community activities, youth organizations and social services. Fiesta del Pueblo was founded in 1993 with the vision of creating a safe and joyful space where the Latino community could come together celebrate their heritage, and share their culture with the broader Tifton area.
Fiesta del Pueblo is a vibrant celebration featuring folkloric dance performances, traditional cuisine from various Latino countries, arts and crafts, and educational resources. This event brings families together to honor our shared heritage and embrace the joy of Latin culture with more than 16,000 attendees each year, Fiesta del Pueblo has become one of the largest Latin festival in South Georgia.
What began as a modest gathering has grown over the years into a beloved annual festival. Through music, dance, food, and community support, Fiesta del Pueblo continues to unite people, fostering pride, understanding and a deeper appreciation of Latino Culture, sharing traditions, essential educational information and social resources to celebrate diversity and unity!
