I am a stay-at-home mom to two daughters, Lauren and Rachel. It's great to be able to stay at home, but I needed SOMETHING to do (other than clean toilets and do laundry!). A few years ago, I saw a picture of a "Snowman Patio Paver" in a magazine. I thought..."that is cute. I bet I could make that.". After some research, I found a site that had patterns and thought I'd give it a try. Just something to try as a hobby...After I posted a picture of my first Ladybug, Lucy, my mom said she'd like one, then my aunts, then a few friends...! Then WOW! I have gotten several pages of orders from Facebook alone. So, in October, we thought we'd give a local craft fair a shot and we did pretty good! I am excited, humbled and sorta shocked! So I chose "LA-LA's Ladybugs and Buddies" as a name. My nieces and nephew have called me Aunt La-La since they were little, thought that would be kinda cute! As for Buddies...I plan to add more critters to my yard art collection. November 1, we rented a space at The Peddlers in South Jacksonville, IL to display all our pavers. Hope you'll check us out!
