La Quinta Art Association(LQAA) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization est. 2016. It is managed and run by its members that consist of professional artists and others. All members are volunteers. The association works educationally within the City of La Quinta to encourage and engage young students in art. Fall for Art is an annual art show established in 2017. It is the first weekend of November each year. The City of La Quinta works with the LQAA to provide this event in La Quinta Park. The event is juried for 45 artists. Fall for Art benefits the Desert Sands Educational Foundation. The LQAA is making a difference in their community
