I have been a crafter most of my live. Only did a few shows during my earlier years while working full time in various careers. It wasn't until 2008 that I started to take part in local craft/festivals throughout Northern California, due to my retirement. I am a person that like to keep busy making things. Most of my craft involves sewing, which I had started at a young age and had a dressmaking/alterations business for about 10 years while children were in school. Now that I have retired and have a load of supplies saved up over the years, it is time to keep busy using my creative skills and sell what I created. I had started to upcycle jeans, when someone had given me a stack of worn out jeans (now days they would be very much in style.) I put them to use in purses, aprons, hot-pads, and mostly any thing to use up the whole jean. I have added to this line of work the same items using my stash of fabric as well as making doll clothes, and novlity items for adults and children.
