I have only been designing necklaces for the last year and a half. Started off by collecting shells along the North Carolina coast, making into necklaces and giving to friends as gifts. Encouraged by all to sell them. Did my first craft show last December and did 5 others in 2006. My shells are now handpicked by me from the coasts of North Carolina, South Carolina and the Gulf Coast shores. My necklaces are created from all natural shell, shell components, natural gemstones, swarovski crystal and dichroic glass.
