Lending A Hand Cancer Fund is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization I formed after I finished a 2x battle with Hodgkins lymphoma, including chemotherapy, a stem cell transplant and an extensive amount of radiation. I was diagnosed at 23 after having my first child. I started surgeries and treatment when she was 6 weeks old. The second time I was diagnosed was right after she turned 1 year old.
After recovering from all of the treatments, I started my own cancer organization so I could give help and support to fellow cancer patients in my own community and be a positive support to patients, survivors and caregivers.
