My name is Lisa. I am a wife, mom, interior decorator and self taught artist/crafter. I have been creative my entire life.Whether I am sewing new curtains for my bedroom, revamping an old chair or making a gift for someone special, I am happiest when my hands are busy doing something creative.
When not working on a design project, I can be found hunting and pecking through tag sales and flea markets in search of vintage wares and décor items in desperate need of a makeover. I am a very nostalgic person, an old soul. I tend to gravitate toward things that remind me of the past.
As a decorator and avid crafter I've dabbled in everything from decorative painting, sewing, and even furniture making. I have decorated most of my home on found items that were repurposed and redesigned. I have never let the amount of money in my pocket stop me from doing what I love....create and decorate. I am a firm believer that with a little creativity, anyone can have a beautiful home, on any budget.
In 2006 I turned my passion into a business with the opening of a small boutique and design studio. It has since evolved into a successful website, blog and etsy shop. I feel very blessed to be able to be doing something I love.
