Let's see... When I was a little kid and grown ups would ask me what I wanted to be when I grew up I didn't really know.  All I knew was that I liked to draw and play with my toys.  It seemed like a lot to ask a little kid.  I mean, how was I supposed to know?  So I ignored them, for the most part.  As I got older the question kept coming up.  What do you want to be when you get older?  Man, I still didn't know.  I just knew I still liked to draw, but now I liked to paint too, and sculpt things, and I still liked my toys.  So eventually I was a senior in high school, and this is when they really mean business.  What do you want to be RIGHT NOW?  I still didn't know, but instead of admitting it, I went to art school.  It took me a little longer than most, but once I was in school I knew I wanted to be an artist.  So I drew, I painted, I sculpted, I learned.  Then I graduated and sat on my butt for about 5 years.  I had a nice job that had nothing to do with art and it paid the bills.  Then Michigan's economy finally fell apart and my hours were cut and I realized that I hadn't been doing what I wanted since art school.  So here I am.  Finally putting my art first, or at least trying to, and hopefully I can make something that people care about.
