Liz Wauldron
My mother was always known for her talented handiworks and taught me to knit and crochet at a very young age. Since then I have been designing, knitting and crocheting many unique fashion accessories and garments. I have also taught and mentored many new artists.
My label “Libby Ruth” is a family name, for I was named after my loving paternal grandmother. It brings me pleasure to work with unusual and beautiful yarns, design, create, and share my textiles with others, as I expand out from my mother’s creative footprints.
Some of my works are featured in the Tarpon Springs Artists’ Fair, Fine Art Gallery, in Tarpon Springs, Florida (http://www.artists-faire.com/liz-wauldron.html). And, I am also a member of the Gulf Coast Artists’ Alliance, Inc. (http://www.gcaa-fl.org/), exhibiting and selling my creations locally in and around the Tampa Bay area.
