The Long Island Maritime Museum, founded in 1966 andn located on 14 acres with majestic views of the Great South Bay, includes 9 historic buildlings and the historic sailing vessel Priscilla. The museum operates under a license agreement with Suffolk County Parks to preserve Long Island's rich maritime history and heritage for educational purposes.
