My art career began as a young girl and I continue to love the creative process, whether working in watercolor, acrylic, silk painting or beading. My paintings have won many awards in various mediums. I am a charter member of Women of Western Art and a member of Seattle CoArts, Artists Connect, and the Alliance of California Artists. My BA is from Colorado State University and I have been teaching art for 12 years. Art should invite the viewer's participation in exploring the mystery of creativity. If it is colorful and fun, I will experiment with it.
