Back Cover
If you are considering reading this book, you are probably seeking a successful future for your child or a special child in your life. The early formative years of a child’s life are critical in learning to be thoughtful, respectful, and self-reliant. These behaviors are learned, for the most part, from you, the parent, the guardian, or other primary role models.
Most adults realize that the successful development of these social behaviors is necessary in order to prepare a child to achieve future success. What many do not consider, however, is the impact this success or failure has on the academic process. This book is designed to assist those who have children’s best interest at heart in teaching important social skills and behaviors needed to enhance the learning environment, which in turn, affords students a greater opportunity for individual academic success.
