My dream for a long time has been to open up my own "home bakery". In September 2012 this dream came true. I got my kitchen state approved and got my in home bakers license. I retired from my job of 23 plus years at the Candler County Health Dept on Oct 1, 2012 and started baking. Me and my husband of 46 years have been traveling to festivals all over Georgia and to farmers markets in close by towns selling cheese straws and divinity candy.
