Let me introduce myself my name is Missy Ramirez. I decided to create Make & Take Tie Dye for a few reasons. The number one reason is like many others; it's time for a career change. I have a B.S degree in elementary education, and I have taught in various environments for the last 8 years. So here is the part that inspires me to make the change...ooo the suspense. It was in June, and it was the last week of school. There is no academic learning happening at this point, so me and another teacher decided to fill time by having the students tie dye shirts. I loved it! They loved it! And from that moment I knew what made my heart flutter! So here I am following my heart and dreams.
Now I know this business could get overwhelming with one person. That is where my good friend Sam Magargal comes in the picture. She also is at a point in her life when a career change is in her future. So I asked Sam and said loved the idea, so here we are. Two women taking a chance and starting out there our own business.
What do we offer? Great question we offer Make & Take Tie Dye shirts, socks, handbags, basically various items that can be tie dyed. Everyone is provided directions on how to wash your tie dye item.
