Bio
I am an artist who paints and draws with eye popping colors. My style has been whimsical, illustrative, and sometimes abstract. I am an educated drawer, and a self-taught painter, illustrator, crafter.
I’m originally from Japan and have been living in the US since 1992. I sold hand made cards at a coffee shop locally, at the same time I began doing so on Etsy. My works are illustrations, paintings with oil and acrylic, small hand crafted items and greeting cards. I have also shown my works at indie style art fairs. In 2008, the pages from my art journals were included in the book titled “1,000 Artist Journal Pages: Personal Pages and Inspirations” by Dawn DeVries Sokol (July 2008).
My new line of work is Tray Art. It is Art with Functionality. It can be hung on a wall or can be used as a serving tray or a dresser.
