A little bit about me: My name is Mary and I've been collecting and admiring costume jewelry since I was about 10 years old. I fell in love with grandma's favorite brooches so began looking for my own to collect. Searching began with brooches, but soon expanded to necklaces, bracelets, and earrings. That gave way to assembling favorites from specific designers and particular styles, or just because the way it was created. It all fascinated me. Sigh, what can say? I love jewelry.
Collecting then turned into making my own jewelry; I would spend hours at the craft store selecting the perfect bead for my next creative endeavor (hmmm, some things will never change). As an adult, I'm still using that creative spirit amid the wonderful assortment of new beads, chains, and findings to fashion my own one-of-a-kind costume jewelry. So, it's with great pleasure, I've starting selling my own costume jewelry by Mary Christines! I'm still working on my Etsy store, but have and will be displaying at festivals in 2012.
