Self-taught artist, Patrick O'Connor's passion for painting began as a young boy, growing up in the Finger Lakes region of Central, New York. At 13, Patrick happened upon a watercolor demonstration at an Ithaca art gallery and his youthful curiosity took over. His skills with a brush and natural talent soon arose and today Patrick boasts hundreds of landscapes and abstracts collected nationwide. Patrick allows the colors and paint to flow naturally, taking on their own personality as he moves them across hot-pressed board or stretched canvas. The essence of all of Patrick's work captures life's moments that allow for the human side of emotion to be felt.
