MaryAnn Kaczmarczyk
I am an "at-home crafter" who loves to make things. Most of my crafts are made from fabric, ribbon, lace, yarn, beads and jewelery supplies, and many items that I recycle from thrift stores, etc. I call my crafts 'MARYANN ORGINALS' as even when I use a printed pattern I make adjustments, changes and sometimes additions to make the item truly an original by me.
I started doing crafts and sewing as a child with my mother. By age 10 I was making my own clothes, by 16 I had learned to knit and a little later to crochet from my grandmothers. I am self taught in cake decorating, card making, origami, some wood working, and many other needle crafts.
2008 was my first time to actually enter a craft show and sell my items. Since then I have been trying to get even more involved in shows as I no longer work outside of my home and can devote more time to crafting.
I have been married for 41 years, have 3 wonderful children, 12 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. We live in the town we both grew up in (Port Huron, Michigan), and are happy here. My husband is a victumn of Muscular Dystrophy and has been unable to work since 1993, and I retired this year afte many years of caring for others.
