The Story Behind the Name
Growing up I always felt a little different. I noticed that in my family I was the only one who was shy and quiet. I was the only one who didn't like spicy food. I was the only one who did like pickles. And I was the only one who had freckles.
I knew I was loved and nothing bad came from these differences, it was just things I noticed that made me feel like I was missing a gene in my DNA or something.
Fast forward to meeting my husband. This is the first person that I just immediately clicked with on all levels. He is a homebody and an introvert like me. We actually met on eHarmony because neither of us like to go out.
One day we went to a baseball game with his best friend and his wife. We are all sitting there in a row and I notice both of them have freckles too. In fact looking at them it seemed like their freckles kind of matched. Not identical but in pattern and thickness. Then I looked at my husband's and mine. OMG! Our freckles matched too! Again not identical, but the pattern and appearance of them are very similar. I love this! I've always been proud of my freckles and this just made our special bond even better.
I'm so happy to have found my soulmate. It took some time and there were definitely some hard times. I love that even though we are both unique, we fit each other so well. Relationships take work and it's important to remember to take the time to make the other person feel special.
