Matt Fenton

I paint to capture the beauty I see everyday.  In my Baltimore City neighborhood, along railroads, water including harbors, seashores, lakes, rivers, the countryside and cityscapes.  I favor expressionist brushwork, using techniques used by the old masters of Europe and America.  I paint with oils, pastels and watercolors, constantly striving for spontaneity and an impressionist's sense of light.
