71st Annual McDade Watermelon Festival - 2nd Saturday in July Car Show, Arts & Crafts, BBQ, Concessions, Melon Auction, etc. A variety of vendors from art, toys, food, jewelry, crafts & homemade items. Live music, washer & horseshoe pitching tournaments, seed spitting & melon eating contest, riding mower rodeo, bingo. Street dance downtown Friday July 12, 2019 8pm-midnight.
