My name is Rita Kiameh, I live in Germantown TN. I'm Lebanese with a Phoenician descendant and heritage. I am married and have two step-children.
I moved to the States eight years ago to build a family and start my own business.So I start thinking about what I would like to do in my life that makes me happy and content.
This is how jewelry design came across and I started a serious endeavor to educate myself.
In my previous years in college, university and practice (since 1996) the only thing that I carried with me was my love for jewelry and jewelry making. Using my hands to create something beautiful helped me through my years of study, and gave me focus.
In those eight years, I studied jewelry design online at Sheffields New York Institute of Art and Design, trained in chainmaille techniques for three years and still continuing to expend my knowledge and craft.
Gave back to the community by donating to well renowned associations and Hospitals to name some: St. Jude, Le Bonheur, and Baptist Memorial Healthcare Foundation...participate in local of events and organize a yearly show in my own house.
My eagerness to expend lead me to be part of this festival crafters and artists, knowing that being part of this community will help me grow my database and spread my love for fashion and jewley making
