The purpose of this organization is to revive and maintain appreciation of the fine performing arts, such as classical music, jazz, theater, and ballet, by providing quality events in places of easy access for everyone, with the hope and expectation that these exemplary experiences will support and promote unity and morality in our communities. In order to reach people who would not otherwise have an opportunity to experience these enriching cultural events, Michigan Arts to the People brings the arts to places where people frequent, such as festivals, arts in the park, shopping center parking lots, prisons, small towns and remote locations.
