A Different Kind Of Wind Chime!
Much like the original founders of Microsoft and Amazon I work out of my garage.
I wanted to bring to market a wind chime that is like no other. No mono filament fishing line, we are not fishing, no craft wire, we are not making jewelry!
Fortunately, I have a background in making wire jewelry, so I am able to transfer these skills to making a wind chime like no other.
Using art glass, also know as stained glass, I combine hand cut pieces that have all edges grinded, ( no sharp edges) with faceted crystals, beveled glass and Czech bugle beads. All assembled on a 30 gauge stainless steel wire. Each piece is tied to this wire using a knot from the fishing world, a Bimini twist with a half hitch, designed not to fail.
These hanging strings of art are hung from a eclectic collection of repurposed glass, each separated with a rubber or nylon surface, all held together with a non rusting eye bolt, which allows the finished piece to be hung from a well secured hook.
This is not your Mother's wind chime!
