For a woman there is nothing like instant gratification and the ability to match my wardrobe with great jewelry. After a few months of reading books and magazines I went to my first bead show, that was an OMG moment. I was so overwhelmed I didn't know where to start, there were so many beautiful beads and stones there that I, like others before me, spent way to much money:) Soon after, I started creating things that other people wanted to buy, talk about a great feeling, I was very flattered . As time went by and I sold more jewelry I decided to take a chance on myself and Moon Mountain Designs was born. I hope that my knowledge and skills will keep on evolving. I love working with wire but my new passion is Precious Metal Clay. I have taken the Rio PMC certification class with none other than Tim McCreight! I plan on becoming a PMC teacher sometime in the near future. I find I like sharing my joy of jewelry making with other people. If I, as a 40 something, can find my creativity, I believe anyone can with a little help and encouragement.
