The Mountain & Valley Fiber Arts Festival, now in its 42nd year, showcases fiber and fiber products including everything wool from fleece to spinning fiber to finished goods and unique clothing. Plant and animal fiber products, tools, equipment, books. All vendors have personally made or created their merchandise.
Animals are on show - sheep, llamas, alpaca to name a few. Demonstrations of sheep shearing, dyeing, spinning, and other fiber crafts. Food booths, live music, fiber competitions and much more.
Always the first full weekend in October, at the La Plata County Fairgrounds and Event Center in stunning Durango, Colorado. Excited to invite you to this fabulous event and pass on the rich history of fiber arts-related crafts to the next group of fiber enthusiasts.
