I have been in wearable art for 27 years. I have a degree in Home Economics with an emphasis in tailoring. I design all of the clothing myself. I cut different designs out of fabric and then apply them to the garment. I then embroider them free hand onto the clothing. All of my shirts have my original designs on the front and the back of the shirt which is my trademark. The shirts are embellished with studs and crystals to enhance the design. A neckline is then added to coordinate with the design on the front. I use a technique called "lettuce Edge" to finish the hem and the neckline. I have created a shirt that is very popular and I have many return customers that collect them from season to season. I was chosen for third place in Fashion at the Southern Women's Show this past Spring in Richmond, Virginia.
