Nestled among the green valleys of southern York County are 30 acres of grapes with vines dating back to 1975. This is Naylor Wine Country where some of the most award-winning Pennsylvania estate wines are grown, fermented, aged and bottled according to traditions dating as far back as the 1800s.
Dick and Audrey Naylor founded the winery in 1978 after their wine-making hobby quickly grew into their passion. Mr Naylor traveled the world in search of the perfect grapes to bring back to York County to start his vineyard. He found that perfect grape in Chambourcin.
Today, Dick Naylor has been called the "Father of Chambourcin" and we make six different wines that range from sweet to dry with that one grape. We also make 40 other different wines ranging from very sweet to complex and dry, so there is sure to be something to please every palate! We invite you to stop by one of our three tasting rooms and try it for yourself!
