I got into beading when I found a pattern for a Christmas ornament made with seed beads. I taught myself the Peyote Stitch, a common stitch used with seed beads. Beading is my passion, especially heirloom ornaments. Some have a holiday theme but most can be used for just about any occasion. I also make beaded banners. Some are only an inch wide and about 2.5 inches long and others are longer. I make beaded tapestries from my own photographs. These can be as small as 4 inches square, up to 10 inches.
