Modhome Ceramics was birthed out my home in 2015. We moved into a home that had rustic modern details and I found my voice in making objects to fit in with the style. I blend elements of nature with simplistic forms that are useful in the home. The main technique for decorating the surfaces of my work is with sgraffito.
I graduated in 1995 with a BFA in Ceramics and fiber arts from Western Washington University and have been finding my way with clay ever since.
